How ssp can prevent burnout

Theory

Your autonomic nervous system looks for possible signals of safety and insecurity through the processes of neuroception. Through neuroception your environment is examined in detail, from micro moment to micro moment, for such signals.

The more signals of safety you perceive, the more you settle down. We are also attracted to such an environment and want to stay in it longer. Again, your senses are your portals to ventral energy....

Assignment

Examine the space where you spend most of your time at home: what in this space gives you peace? Are there objects where you feel a connection to your ventral energy? Consider what it is about these items that give you this feeling, what is the connection to ventral energy for you?

Also investigate if there are any signals or objects that actually reduce your ventral energy. What might be causing sympathetic stress or depriving you of your energy?

Use what you have learned to arrange your environment so that it fills you with ventral energy.

Tip

A ventral environment provides a sense of security, connection and abundance.

Investigate whether you can add more objects, which give you a sense of security and calm. And also investigate whether, on the contrary, you can take away things, which give a feeling of unrest and insecurity.
