The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) focuses on generating and creating a physical state that fosters feelings of positivity, promotes healthy interpersonal relationships and facilitates progress in learning and therapeutic interventions.
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a five-hour therapeutic listening intervention that focuses on emotion regulation and neuroperception. It is designed based on Stephen Porges' Polyvagal Theory. The main goal is to reduce auditory sensitivity and increase the client's sense of safety.
